Is the Chamberlain 3/4 HP garage door opener at Lowes good?
I need to replace my chain drive garage door opener. Does anyone have any opinion on the Chamberlain model 248735 from Lowes? Also did you have Lowes install your opener?

Chamberlain makes almost all the garage door openers out there. They make them for Sears as well as Lowes and also sell them under the Liftmaster brand. So I don't think you'll go wrong.
One thing to consider is where your garage is located. I have a garage under the house and I installed a belt drive model with battery backup (on one side). Very quiet compared to the chain drive.
