Does the Ritz Carlton hotel take a long time to answer an application for a job?

I applied for a job 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard back. I am qualified. I don't have specific experience in that particular position, but I have 20 years plus experience in customer service (I was a flight attendant and a flight attendant supervisor) and therefore, this job would be ideal. I applied for two jobs a frond desk agent and the concierge agent. The positions are still posted.
